It can almost be defined as a catalyst. Since artists are not aware of what they are doing in each moment of their life, they become subjects that exude an identity, a research. So the studio becomes a receptacle wherein these impressions, sometimes intuitions, stratify, finding in it a physical space.
The studio thus allows the artist to speak both in the 'here and now’ – when the artist is at work in the studio – and also as a physical container of the artist’s emanations and interests. It becomes a container of various material, it contributes to the creation of the artist’s future because it ‘welcomes.’ It works as a receptive environment.

Si potrebbe forse definirlo un attivatore. Proprio perché l’artista non è in ogni momento della sua vita consapevole di quello che fa, egli diventa un emanatore, di un’identità, di una ricerca. E lo studio diventa il ricettacolo in cui si stratificano queste suggestioni, a volte intuizioni, che trovano un luogo fisico in esso.
Lo studio permette all’artista di parlare sia nel qui e ora, nel momento in cui l’artista fisicamente è all’opera nello studio, ma anche come contenitore fisico di tali emanazioni, dei suoi interessi. Diventa un contenitore di materiale vario, contribuisce a creare il futuro di quell’artista, proprio perché ‘accoglie’, funge da ambiente ricettivo.
